Analysis of WHITEOUT-
- I started off by finding a PNG of some musical notes to put as a background. I cut the notes in half and then mirrored it to look symmetrical across the back of the cover.
- The next thing I added was the gangster which I found by again simply searching for a "Gangster png".
- After all these images were added and edited I started work on the text by adding the company text at the top as well as the album name and artist name at the bottom. The result was Whiteout as you see it today.
-I decided to use a rather blocky font as I thought it looked smoother on the cold harsh background.
- After everything was in place I decided to add a layer over the whole thing which created a scratched look.
-Just for added aesthetics I later added a parental advisory sticker in the bottom right.
-Later I played around with the blending options to make the text stand out from the background.
